From waste to three valuable resources
Instead of ending up in landfill, the HaloSep process enables the hazardous waste collected in the flue gas cleaning system to be converted into three valuable resources. The stabilized fly ash is a mineral fraction that can be used for construction purposes. The metal fraction will be used as feedstock for zinc smelters. The salt water can be used as road salt or used in industry. By providing a local treatment and recycling solution, long distance transport and export of hazardous waste is avoided.
